In the process of acquiring new habits and behaviors, dogs thrive on consistency. Our Board + Train program is specially crafted to each unique dog and focuses on key areas such as basic manners and obedience, confidence building, reactivity, resource guarding, leash etiquette, proper socialization, addressing aggression and more.

Board + Train programs are uniquely tailored to address any specific needs, including —

Foundational Training

Covering impulse control, different thresholds, proper socialization, and essential commands such as sit, down, stay, heel, place, and reliable recall to establish strong groundwork.

Behavioral Modification

Targeting issues related to fear and aggression through specialized training techniques to build confidence.

Routine + Structure

Establishing a consistent daily schedule to promote consistency, predictability, and positive reinforcement of desired behaviors. Creating a structured routine early in a dog's life sets the foundation for good behavior and helps create a happy dog.

Advanced Training

Unleash your dog’s full potential! Focusing on building a stronger foundation for your dog with a more reliable response to commands + more advanced commands, including for off-leash training, scent detection, and agility training.

Our Board & Train Program is designed to offer your dog the optimal blend of daily structure and training, promoting their success in learning and adapting to positive behaviors on a consistent basis. All Board & Train programs include a virtual mid-point, take-home session, and a follow-up session.

Meet & Greet

We require all dogs and owners to complete a 30-min interview prior to our board+train service. This is an essential process to assess your dog's behavior, temperament, suitability, and safety for our program.

4-Week Program

The Basics

• General manners (indoors, outdoors,
car, etc.)
• Clear understanding of basic commands (sit, stay, come, etc.)
• Proper exposure to different environments (i.e., parks, cafes, stores, etc.)
• Leash manners
• Proper socialization
• Learning how to settle in stimulating environments

Program Includes

• 4 Week Program
• 1 Mid-Point virtual session with owners
• 1 (2-hr) recap session at the end of the program
• 2 (1-hr) follow-up sessions for refinement
• Maximum of 1 dog per program

6-Week Program

Behavioral Modification

Suited for dogs with severe behavioral issues, including aggression, separation anxiety, reactivity, and resource guarding (bite history)

• General manners (indoors, outdoors, car, etc.)
• Clear understanding of basic commands (sit, down, stay, come, heel, place, etc.)
• Proper exposure to different environments (i.e., parks, cafes, stores, etc.)
• Leash manners
• Proper socialization
• Learning how to settle in stimulating environments

Program Includes

• 6 Week Program
• 1 Mid-Point virtual session with owners
• 1 (2-hr) recap session at the end of the program
• 2 (1-hr) follow-up sessions for refinement
• Maximum of 1 dog per program
